Greater Valley EMS works closely with Robert Packer Hospital to facilitate non-emergent and emergent transfers from their facility to skilled nursing facilities, hospice homes, or facilities able to provide a higher level of care for the patient’s needs.  We also partner with Air Methods to provide ambulance transportation for critically ill/injured patients that require a higher level of care during transportation when the aircraft is unable to fly.

 

All patients must meet specific medical necessity for inter-facility transports by ambulance to ensure proper reimbursement from insurance companies.  For any questions or clarification, please call our dispatch office.
